Senior Store Person (Fixed Term Contract)

Our client is a specialist manufacturer of small and medium volume suspension and gear parts for the defence industry.
They are looking to recruit an experienced Store Person on a contract basis. You will be reporting to the Stores Controller.
You will have the ability to perform effectively under pressure during challenging periods.
The role is designed to fit in slightly higher than a Store person such that the role can cover for the stores controller in his absence, and can also bring some stores, MRP and continuous improvement to the team.
This is a fixed term position for 18 months initially.
Must have experience in stores environment associated with engineering products. Some supervisory/cell leader experience is required.
Good working knowledge of MRP systems and must be computer literate.
A positive attitude and can do approach and good communicator is required as well as excellent time-keeping.
This will be day shift work but must be available to work overtime when required overtime rates will apply.
