A vacancy for Production Manager in Melting has arisen following the restructuring of our clients Refining Operations at Brimsdown. The Production Manager will work alongside the Departmental Manager, with the day to day running of the Departments to ensure short and medium term goals are achieved.
As the Production Manager you will liaise with other departments and functions as required to achieve the customer demand. We are looking for someone with proven people management and leadership skills with an ability to work to firm deadlines.

The Production Manager you will have the experience and knowledge of the site process flow, key inputs/outputs and the role of the Department within it. Demonstrable experience and knowledge of planning and organising labour to meet customer targets is essential. Analytical approach to problem solving will be a key requirement for the role. Knowledge and experience of performance management and the identification of training and development needs is essential as is the ability to persuade and influence others.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to work autonomously under pressure, ability to develop and mentor the team, and good time management are some of the key attributes for the role holder. As a good team player, you will be self-motivated and dynamic with a pro-active approach to your job. A belief and conviction in the need for continuous Improvement is also essential.
