A Thermal Test & Methods Development Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

Description
Position Description:
Thermal Test & Methods Development Engineer (Calibration Lead) responsible for the preparation, test and data analysis of prototype vehicles across a variety of vehicle programmes.

Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Proven fleet management and XCL T&D experience in climatic facilities, track testing and in-market (without further training) vital to role. Also a working knowledge of OEM thermal processes, calibration software & protocols, workshops and departments is important to this role. Experience of thermal CWT/HET testing along with a detailed knowledge of vehicle CAN, diagnostic etc systems critical. Willingness to work flexible hours to cover CWT shift patterns where required.

Skills Preferred:
The ability to analyse and condense large amounts of test data (without detailed mentoring) along with a good team-working approach to tasks. Ability to cascade information to rest of T&D team and programme PAT Leaders.

Details
Experience Required:
Experience of thermal and/or cooling whole-vehicle test work with proven results delivery.

Experience Preferred:
PAT attribute skills.

Education Required:
Previous vehicle test and/or calibration experience is core to this role.
