Maintenance Technician
Essex, England
Our Client is the third largest pharmaceutical company in the world. They are seeking Maintenance Technicians to ensure filling and packaging lines remain operational.
The post holder will be required to:
Conduct routine PPM`s on a wide range of paste transfer systems.
Ensure a maintenance schedule adherence of at least 95%.
Take active role in planning routine and corrective maintenance works.
Drive down breakdowns by periodically reviewing all line stoppages, utilising CMMS, Engineering Logs etc. in order to propose actions to prevent recurrence.
Support continuous improvement initiatives taking an active role in data gathering, design studies, implementation and monitoring.
Ensure correct and effective use of engineering stores.
Take a proactive role in EHS activities and initiatives relevant to the safe operation and maintenance of the production lines, including but not limited to, practical involvement in Risk Assessment, Ergonomics, Manual Handling and Make-It-Safe s.
Ensure that GMP, Quality, Health and Safety are considered in all aspects of the role.
Correct and effective use of CMMS, maintaining and updating asset history to include PPM, breakdown and corrective planned work tasks, print and sign off work orders where required.
Ideally candidates will possess an indentured Mechanical apprenticeship with experience of working in an FMCG environment, preferably Pharmaceutical, and be multi-skilled (Mech to Elec).
Successful applicants will be team players, with good problem solving skills.
