Resident Calibration Engineer

Our Client is a World Leader in the innovation, Design and Manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection Equipment.
They are now looking for a Resident Calibration Engineer, to be based in Eindhoven and form part of the heavy duty diesel group, providing onsite support with engine testing and calibration activities.
You will be working as part of a small team of resident engineer s onsite with the OEM customer.
The main responsibility will involve acting as key liaison between the UK based software and calibration teams and the OEM calibration and validation teams, supporting engine and calibration activities.
The nature of the role is particularly flexible with a wide range of varied engineering challenges faced daily.
You will be expected to be the tier 1 representative for all engine testing calibration support and problem solving activities on the customer site
As the Calibration Engineer you will hold a degree in mechanical / automotive / calibration engineering disciplines with proven experience with engine test facilities preferably in a heavy duty diesel environment.
Use of engine calibration tool chains (ATI Vision, Etas INCA etc);
Excellent communication skills are essential with good working knowledge of software / calibration development processes.
