Aftermarket Transport Coordinator

Our automotive client is a market leader in luxury and high volume off-road vehicles, designing and manufacturing in the Midlands.
This key role will see you supporting the delivery of exceptional aftermarket services to customers, wherever they are in the world. You will purchase, implement and monitor a network of transport carriers, agents and freight forwarders everyone the company needs to create a high-performing aftermarket operation. You will also forge partnerships with other functions across the business, particularly with regard to logistics and customs compliance.
The company will be looking to you to make a global impact, so you will need to come to the role with a solid base of supply chain, transport logistics or purchasing experience. A degree in one of these areas is crucial, too, as is the ability to negotiate and build relationships across organisational and cultural boundaries. To really excel, you will also need to be a commercial, analytical and strategic thinker.
Degree qualified is a must.
