Our client is one of the world`s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. Established for more than 60 years its product line-up has, more recently, moved into the design and manufacture of passenger cars, including electric vehicles.
*Working within a project team
*Provide single point of contact for vehicle package work
*Set up of concept seating package layout based on target data from benchmarking activities to high level ergonomic requirements
*Ensure robust interface between Occupant and mechanical package activities
*Expert ergonomics support and analysis
*Development of styling restriction model based on target dimensions
*Creation of zones illustrating package legal requirements
*Work with component design areas
*Development of proposals for part design changes, enhancements

Minimum 6 weks in 7 in Pune, India
*Minimum of 5 years experience working in Occupant package or a closely related function
*Working and leading cross functional teams
*Understands differing custom and legislative requirements between markets
*Sound understanding of hands on experience in the development production of package layouts
*Sound understanding of ergonomics in vehicle design and awareness of human machine interface requirements including development tools
*Develop target processes and methods
*Working with styling functions to deliver package concepts
*Proficient in Catia V5 and Vismockup
*Proficient in Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint
*Preferred experience in the use of teamcenter
*Preferred experience working with GPDS and Virtual series process
*Experience in the production of occupant package properties

*Degree qualified or similar qualification
*Strong numeracy and literacy
*Minimum of 5 years automotive experience
*Capable of leading project with minimum supervision
*Demonstrates depth of knowledge in a relevant technical speciality
