Buyer (Indirect)

Our client is a leading prestige automotive manufacturer and are looking to recruit an Indirect Buyer to their facility in Oxfordshire. The Buyer will have responsibility of sourcing assigned commodity parts.
Candidates will have experience of purchasing indirect commodities such as services, facilities, and factory consumables, within an automotive arena or high volume manufacturing plant.
The role will involve managing current supply base and sourcing new suppliers to ensure that the right volumes at the right cost are purchased for the facility.
- Applicants will ideally be degree educated
- At least two years purchasing experience.
- Strong negotiation skills are required for the position to ensure that best prices and cost down targets are met.
