The company assembles and supplies interior and exterior trims to the automtoive OEMs world wide. As a consequence, the company must remain in compliance with the latest and expected Industry and customer standards and requirements in respect of quality, cost and delivery.
As Tooling and Mould Maintenance Supervisor the purpose of the role is to maintain all machines, tools, equipment and facilities and support production with repairs in the event of a breakdown and any installation work. You will also support all plant and facilities continuous improvement work.
To provide first line management, coaching and mentoring to the team and liaise with Senior Managers on daily issues, to act as primary point of contact between the company and contract toolmakers in support of repairs /modifications, ensuring tools are available for production and maintained in accordance with TPM shire system. You will monitor the tool department operatives and implement succession planning, maintaining all HSE issues and also maintaining and working on a plan to improve the tool maintenance area. You will review the present tools in production, understand the costs and requirements to bring them up to the standard spec to assist in SME., maintain the shire system and operate in accordance with acknowledged APQP disciplines.
