Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Engineering Technician.
The successful candidate will be responsible:-

To provide technical skills to support highly automated filling and packaging operations on a 2/3 shift basis. This includes bulk manufacturing, automated filling, complex assembly machines, Inspection machines, autoclaves, CIP/SIP and packaging equipment.

Undertake preventative plant maintenance activities through MERPS, including electrical, instrument, controls and mechanical preventative maintenance routines.

Working to current company and regulatory GxP and safety standards.

Problem solving and proactive development of plant reliability within a demanding production environment.

Delivery of Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.

Fault finding on all types of controls systems.

Successful candidates are likely to:

Have served a recognised apprenticeship.

Be educated to HNC / HND level in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.

Be able to demonstrate a wide range of engineering skills to include mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control.

Be able to demonstrate familiarity with field instrumentation for the measurement of relative humidity / temperature / pressure / flow etc.

Be able to demonstrate an ability to solve complex problems under pressure.

The ability to support flexible shift working patterns (including 3 shifts).

Enjoy working in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively.

Have experience working within a project environment.

Have the skills and attitude to deliver and sustain the client site.

Have a good knowledge of aseptic pharmaceutical processes.

Be able to fault find on PLC / Soft PLC systems.
