Manufacturing Engineer-CNC Background

Our client is a world leader in Primary Flight Controls, Thrust Reverser Actuation and High Lift Systems, providing support to the world`s major civil and military aircraft constructors. They offer complete in-house design, development and certification.
This position have are a requirement as the current incumbent is retiring next year; the role is working under the ME Team Leader and working as part of an existing team that consist of 12 at this moment in time.
It`s an established workforce and with this role, you`ll be adding value by demonstrating pervious experience as an ME in a machining environment (this doesn`t have to be aerospace) and significant experience on the CNC Side using Mazutrol, Siemens or Fanuc.
You must have CAD/CAM experience and understanding also (EdgeCAM, AlphaCAM) and ideally 3D solid modelling (Solidworks would be perfect).
You must have demonstrable experience of precision milling and turning as you could be required to assist and help the operators already in house as and when they require it as approx 50% of your day will be writing programmes.
If you have these skills and any exposure to LEAN methodologies or continuous improvement techniques then you would be perfectly suited for this role.
