Powertrain Technician
Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England
Our client is a leading independent provider of product engineering, research, testing information and certification to the worldwide automotive industry and is based in Warwickshire.
Working as part of a team on powertrain projects
Main responsibilities:
*Test Engine palletisation, installation and commissioning
* Test Engine support services installation
*Customer Liaison
*Test preparation and carrying out engine tests
*Equipment maintenance
Qualifications:
*Relevant CandG, vehicle engineering, BTEC, NVQ Level 3 and/or experience
Understanding of diesel and petrol engines and components be able to perform strip and repair type activities
Welding and fabrication skills
Working knowledge of Quality and Health and Safety systems and procedures
Test bed experience with knowledge of test bed PC controllers and test cell systems
Practical experience in the use of engine test instrumentation
Computer literate
CP Engineering test bed control, MIRA QA, HandS system preferable
