Candidates with authority to work in the UK based overseas in France, Germany, The Netherlands, Spain, Italy, USA, China, Japan, Australia are also encouraged.

Your challenge will be to establish and deliver the innovative strategy needed to drive forward computer-aided engineering capability across the business.

You'll fully assess the current CAE capability to highlight strengths and identify opportunities for improvements. Having done so, you ll then develop and deliver a full CAE programme that both meets their current needs and anticipates the future challenges that their new products will present.

The ideal candidate will need to be a strategic and innovative thinker with broad experience of using CAE tools in an engineering design environment. Candidates may already be in the Automotive industry, those in the Aerospace, Motorsport, Defence industries or Consultancy are also encouraged to apply. An understanding of CAE techniques, methods, tools and optimisation techniques is important too, as is a track record of developing new methods in line with evolving business needs. Solid project management and delivery skills will also prove a real asset.
