Our client is a leader in design, manufacture and support of world leading turbo chargers and associated equipment.

Due to growth plans a position of Product Engineer has become available, and as such we welcome applicants who want a fresh challenge, and meet the requirements below As an experienced Product Engineer, you`ll be responsible for Engineering support for a range of current Production Products. Supports and develops Engineering activities within the plant. Participates in quality and process development, and acts as liaison between plant and other Engineering groups

  • Provide Engineering support to Supply Chain on source approvals of turbocharger components over the model range, including engineering approval work.
  • Engineering support for Cost Reduction Activities
  • Engineering support for Quality improvements
  • Engineering support for Process Change approval
  • Support New Product Introduction into the plant, supporting other functional areas where necessary
  • Evaluate risks and authorise disposition of material which does not conform to Engineering specifications Failure Analysis: Investigate test and field failures to determine root cause of failure and initiate a corrective action of current product
  • Support/lead cross-functional design reviews both internally and with external suppliers
  • Provide product knowledge training for other functions as needed formally or informally
  • Turbocharger product knowledge
  • Experience in manufacturing or design
  • Basic understanding of Quality processes
  • Understanding of design processes CoC, FMEA, Design Review
