Component Engineer

Our client is a leading independent provider of product engineering, research, testing information and certification to the worldwide automotive industry and is based in Warwickshire.
Component Test management role with the following responsibilities:
Project Management to quality, cost and time
Customer liaison
Set up of test rigs
Hydraulic and mechanical rig design and management
Data acquisition, Signal processing, and Analysis of results
Writing/Preparation of reports
Preparation of quotations and pricing
Liaison with other departments as required
Also possible involvement with:
Facility Management
Structures Rig operation
Environmental testing
Ongoing marketing, QA and maintenance requirements
Engineering degree or equivalent required
Chartered Mechanical Engineer
Project management experience including man management and financial management
Knowledge of Transducers, Data acquisition, Signal processing, word processing, spreadsheets, data presentation
Customer Liaison
Experience in presentations
Process planning
Quality improvement techniques
Not a frequent requirement, but must be prepared to work flexible hours and overtime to meet customer or programme timing requirements
