ICT Technical Sales Consultant

Our client is a software consultancy and services company, headquartered in Belfast with engineering and sales offices in Birmingham and Dublin.

The purpose of the Technical Sales Consultant is to broaden the relevance and volume of intelligence available to the company`s sales team about specific customer engagements. This position will require regular travel to customer sites across the UK and occasional travel to corporate headquarters in Belfast.
As Technical Sales Consultant you will be required to undertake a range of roles including consultancy, producing and delivering demonstrations and presentations and assisting with the production of final proposals. The customers engages will primarily be from the local authority market. You must be able to understand stakeholder needs and to quickly and clearly communicate how a particular solution would meet those needs.

You will undertake consultancy engagements with customers, provide technical leadership on software demonstrations and technical presentations, share responsibility for ongoing development of customer demonstrations and work with both customer account teams and marketing specialists to build, maintain and share a pool of industry and other domain knowledge relevant to the target market. You must  have done a similar role for at least 3 years.
