Quality Engineer
Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
£25k - 35k per year + Bonus
Based at our clients major manufacturing facility and the lead plant for worldwide sales of high horsepower engines, supplying international markets in the electricity generating, mining, marine and locomotive sectors.
Due to growth plans they are now looking for a Quality Engineerand as such we welcome applications who meet the criteria below:
- Daily reactive support for Quality issues
- Driving Quality issues to resolution, coordinating activities across internal departments.
- Ensure supplier issues are contained and reported for follow up with Central SQI.
- Ensure maintenance of Quality controls and processes in Assembly area
- Driving continual improvement activities internally and with the supply base. Minimum HNC (or working towards), Degree preferred.
Relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably engine or automotive
Minimum 2/3 years experience in a Quality or similar function
6 Sigma green belt experience
