Continuous Improvement Engineer

My client a market leading company based in West Yorkshire are looking for an experienced CI Engineer. The products are used extensively in many areas of industry, in particular in the Oil and Gas, Automotive, Power Generation Industry
The company has a wide customer base and exports over 60% of it`s products
Main Duties
-Identify opportunities for improvement in quality, efficiencies, working practices across the business
-Lead Operational Problem Solving teams with the remit of solving problems, increasing efficiencies and developing new ideas into production methods
-Process quality issues and customer complaints in logical manor to ensure problems are remedies and improvements made
-Work with Quality Assurance and Quality Control personal and implement continuous Improvement and best practice across the manufacturing process
-Develop, manage and maintain information and models to increase performance across the business
-Lead implementation of large scale improvements projects
Skills and Experience
-Candidates should ideally be educated to degree level in engineering or Manufacturing discipline
-Previous experience of working with ISO9001 and TS16949 Quality Management Systems
-Should have strong operational plant experience, with experience of Project Management
-Knowledge of TQM tools in a production environment such at Lean, 6 Sigma and Kaizen
