Project Data Co-ordinator

Our client is an automotive business involved in the manufacture of aluminium based components and assemblies with sustainable plans for growth. As Project Data Co-ordinator you will work as part of the project team to ensure relevant customer/supplier data is correctly and accurately stored, maintained and accessible to all relevant departments.
Taking relevant information from customer specifications, CAD drawings etc and filing into business data systems, taking relevant information from supplier specifications, CAD drawings etc and filing into business data systems, maintaining and amending data in line with change requirements, meeting deadlines to ensure all departments are following the same information/documents, ensuring documents are in the right location, are understandable and correctly categorised, monitoring and evaluating the system and seek improvements, ensure quality of information, support Manufacturing and Quality Engineering tasks and projects as required and support Design activities as required.
You will need a minimum of 2 years in an engineering environment of which at least 1 year would normally be in an environment to which the role relates, preferably an automotive background. You will need good communication, organisation and coordination skills, accurate, high attention to detail, good written and verbal skills; flexible and proactive and willing to learn new skills.
