The company currently supplies electronic systems to the aerospace industry for both civil and defence applications. Their major area of business at Cheltenham is avionics systems. There is scope for working on a variety of projects and products and the constantly changing approach to systems and procedures in house means that engineers have a real opportunity to help shape the organisation.

The Information Management (IM) Program Manager - Business Solutions demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for Supply Chain Quality. In this role you will utilise your experience or expertise to solve problems, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

Ideal candidates should demonstrate the following:
- Experience in managing projects implementing custom applications using Java (J2EE) technologies and/or commercial off the shelf packages such as SAP, Oracle and general web technologies
- Proven leadership skills in business planning, information technology, and financial management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organisation
- Experience with manufacturing and supply chain business processes
- Customer Focus - Experience developing relationships with business partners or customers
Responsibilities will include:
- Serve as solution delivery expert for the design and implementation of assigned application areas
- Demonstrate accountability for operational excellence
- Manage budgets and contracts associated with program(s) or initiative(s)
- Coordinate program support activities
- Prepare and present project plans, status reports, cost / benefit studies and recommend funding and resources
- Lead the analysis, requirement development, design, documentation, implementation and maintenance of medium to large IT solutions for business processes
- Ensure conformance to Aviation IT, methods, standards and practices
- Lead the evaluation/implementation of third party software solutions

Candidates should possess:
- Bachelor`s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering or similar level of knowledge and experience
- Demonstrable experience with current information technologies and their influence on business functions
