Due to growth plans a position of Principal Analysis Engineer has become available, and as such we welcome applicants who want a fresh challenge, and meet the requirements below The purpose of the job is to provide structural analysis support to engineering programmes and to help support the FEA team. You should have the ability to perform structural analysis of engine systems and components to support project and customer requirements.
You will carry out analysis using hand calculation, spreadsheets, Finite Element or Multi-Body Dynamic techniques and liaise with customers, project teams and sub-contractors and represent the Analysis Department at Project meetings when required.
You will also present results and recommendations of the analysis to the customer.
Desirable assets for this positon are working knowledge of a CAD system, preferably Pro/Engineer or IDEAS Master Series, basic programming and operating system skills, e.g Visual Basic, Fortran, Pascal, Windows, Unix, Linux, report writing and time management skills and German Language skills.
Additionally you will have the ability to work on your own and as part of a team, confidence to communicate at all levels and be self motivated and possess the drive to complete tasks in a timely manner.
You will have the ability to work well under pressure and to strict time constraints and have the flexibility and willingness to travel to customer sites.
