Contract Material Planner

Our client is Global manufacturer and supplier of Pneumatic components, associated equipment and assemblies.

Due to rapid growth, they have an immediate requirement for a Materials Planner (6 month contract)

As such, if you feel you have the presence, background, ambition to meet and surpass the requirements below, please send your CV for consideration: Perform the material planner role for production projects in the hydraulics project teams:
Progress chasing of key components
Update and maintain project documentation
Ensure project reports are accurate and up to date
Liaison between the various functions within the project team
The role will involve travel - supporting off-site teams and customers Ensure that visual management aids are functioning and up to date
Provide office support to the off-site teams and customers
Liaison with the production cell to overcome problems
Liaison with the other areas of the business unit
Prepare presentations, quotations, plans and reports
Carry our activities required to support the project
Experience of material planning and progress chasing
Ideally experience in working in an engineering / production environment
Excellent office skills
Excellent self-organisation skills
Self motivated
Good problem solving skills
Able to work in a team and individually
Good confident communicator
Strong computer skills
Results driven and keen to complete tasks
