Our client is a leading technical supplier to the automotive industry, and due to exceptional growth plans and current business requirements, they are looking to appoint a Senior Composite Trimmer to lead a small team focussed on preparing and maintaining all carbon composite bodywork and components, as such we welcome applicant who meet the criteria below:
- Highly skilled Composite Finishing, meeting high standards and demanding time constraints
- Knowledge and experience of Laminating Techniques for both Pre-preg and Wet-lay Fibre reinforced composites
- Able to mark-out and trim 3 dimensional components
- Able to read Engineering Drawings and used to working from Production Manuals
- To be able to show flexibility, prepared to work overtime, often without notice, if requested by the Chief Mechanic
- Be aware of good working practices related to Composite Component manufacture and finishing Previous experience in motorsport composites

Specialist automotive or aerospace background
