Purchasing Administrator

A Purchasing Administrator is required by a leading Automotive Tier 1 company based in the West Midlands.
You will be responsible for handling departmental queries, telephone enquiries and standard letters to suppliers and provide support to the Material Planning and Logistics Department and EBP administration where required. You will be responsible for monitoring the automated order system and highlighting any problems and identifying improvements within the scope of your responsibilities in order to streamline the processes. You will also be responsible for interaction within the Material Planning and Logistics Team, Engineering, RandD and Suppliers.
You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and organisational skills, attention to detail/accuracy, be self motivated, a team player, be able to cope under pressure and be aware of the need for confidentiality. You must be computer literate Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
