A Key Fuel Systems CAD Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Warwickshire.
Description
In this Key Fuel Systems engineering role, the successful candidate will use their expertise in Catia v5 to design and develop fuel system components and packages. Using both Catia v5 CAD and Team Centre, they’ll carry out geometrical package studies and clash detection, and generate static and clearance envelopes. They will focus on everything from concept feasibility to design and package feasibility across all fuel system components. They will create a feasible set of components in the target vehicle package, which will enhance our client’s reputation for quality.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Catia V5 experience in an automotive OEM environment is essential. Self motivated and adaptable to changing demands. Able to manage workload and work independently. Manufacturing process knowledge (blow moulding, injection moulding, forming, stamping).
Skills Preferred:
Team Centre Engineering experience is preferred. Full UK Driving Licence is desirable, but not essential.

Experience Required:
One year CATIA v5 experience in an automotive OEM environment, is a minimum requirement.
Experience Preferred:
Powertrain component design experience, and fuel system design experience, are desirable.
Education Required:
HND or higher in relevant engineering discipline.
