Project Engineer
Basildon, Essex, England
A Project Engineer is required for an initial 12 month period and will report to the UK Technical Sales Manager.
Main Customers and Products
Project/ product development.
Front End Accessory Drive (FEAD) belts, idlers, pulleys and hydraulic tensioners
As the Project Engineer you will be capable of managing small/medium projects and for following technical and commercial issues with the UK office and French parent company departments.
Provide product development technical assistance to customers.
Follow group direction re promotion of new products/services to customers.
Tracking and documentation of customer project milestones.
Resolve in a timely manner all open issues that arise on the project.
Schedule regular meetings as required.
Manage and communicate with internal and external support as needed.
Ensure overall project objectives are met.
Can involve Schedule A documentation.
Create and maintain good professional customer relationships.
Identify requirements and expectations of the customer.
Identify development opportunities in the customer.
The Project Engineer will hold an engineering degree or diploma
with proven experience in an automotive powertrain environment.
Working knowledge of (SREA, Schedule A, QOP, Support plans, 8D etc.)
Ability to speak and read French desirable but not essential
