A Hybrid Calibration Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
Description
This position is part of the Hybrid Calibration Team and includes but is not limited to: Developing initial transmission calibrations to proveout emissions and driveability capability. Developing Hybrid Specific Calibrations to proveout emissions and driveability capability. Vehicle DVM Testing HIL rig DVM testing. Completing and logging vehicle emissions tests. Assisting with the commissioning and debugging of early prototype vehicles.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Calibration experience either in transmissions or engine calibration. Prototype vehicle development activities. Development vehicle commissioning.
Skills Preferred:
Knowledge of Control Systems and or Electrical integration is desirable. Knowledge of our client’s Project Management systems such as GPDS, GTDS, eFDVS is desirable.
Details
Experience Required:
Exposure to calibration and control project delivery. Working on prototype vehicles.
Experience Preferred:
OEM or automotive development systems such as GPDS.
Education Required:
Degree in a relevant field or subject.
