Development Engineer

Caterham Cars require Development Engineers to provide vehicle development engineering support.
The Development Engineer will be involved in the development of existing and design of new automotive parts through prototyping and into production. There will also be a requirement to problem solve production issues, customer support and in-situ development. You will be required to liaise with and project-manage suppliers involved in external manufacture. The Development Engineer may be required travel out of hours both inside and outside the UK in order to support meetings and development testing.
Candidates should be degree qualified in Automotive related engineering and have an all round interest I vehicle engineering. The ideal candidates will have experience of design for fabrication, machining etc and the ability to produce and read technical drawings. Experience of CAD systems, preferably Solidworks and experience of CATIA V5 is desirable.
