My client a fast growing market leading manufacturing company who specialise in mechanical handling systems.
They offer a full range of bespoke Mechanical Handling solutions for a variety of industry sectors. The company also offer a range of supporting service including, servicing and Electrical Control Systems
Main Duties
- Will be working alongside Project Managers to develop overall planning strategy for the execution of Nuclear mechanical handling projects
-Working closely with the engineering project and engineering design teams ensure the attainment of multiple project programme targets
-Will be planning engineering projects and/or construction projects; although mechanical handling/nuclear projects would be preferred
-Responsible for developing and maintaining multiple project programme plans
-Prepare and present planning reports both internally and to external customers using a variety of reporting tools
-Provide reports on progress and costs to Project Managers to satisfy client requirements
-Responsible for upkeep of Information Management System
Skills and Experience required
-Candidates should ideally be educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
-Experience of working with either Primavera or Microsoft Project software, ideally with a related qualification
-Candidate should be an experienced planner with evidence of formal training in planning tools and techniques
-Will be working on project in the Nuclear sector so must be eligible for security clearance
