Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical
Southend on Sea, Essex, England

Premier amusement park based in Essex are now looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias.

As the Maintenance Engineer you will have the day to day responsibility of the in-house maintenance department reporting directly to the General Manager.

As the Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:

Rectifying mechanical and electrical faults and breakdowns

Regularly inspecting, servicing and reporting of all plant and machinery on preventative maintenance programs.

Keeping regular HandS records and continuous review of policy documentation.

Excellent time management prioritising work.

Ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

Liaising with safety inspectors

Dealing with emergency situations and acting promptly and efficiently in a calm manner.



Ideally the successful Maintenance Engineer will have knowledge of electro-mechanical, repairing electrical/mechanical/hydraulic and fault finding experience.

The successful applicant will hold a relevant qualification ONC/HND or City and Guilds in a mechanical or electrical discipline with proven hands on experience in all aspects of fault diagnosis, mechanical repair and preventative maintenance.
