ZF Transmission Calibration Engineer

A ZF Transmission Calibration Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in the West Midlands.
Description
To provide support for ZF transmission calibration team of 18 based at Whitley. Types of duties to be performed: scheduling car repairs/reworks, diagnosing trans faults, re-flashing other fleet cars, organising sign-off drive events, providing logistical support when transporting cars /parts/people.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
INCA experience required. Must be able to manage own time and plan ahead. Knowledge of Automotive electrical systems preferred. Must be a confident communicator, verbal and written at all levels. Excellent communication skills. Good PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
Details
Experience Required:
Must be familiar with automotive test environment and manufacturing environment.
Experience Preferred:
Experience of working in an engineering environment. Technical understanding of the Powertrain & Transmission systems would be useful.
Education Required:
Educated to A level or equivalent, in a relevant field or subject, is a minimum requirement.
Additional Information:
To provide Launch support at Castle Bromwich and Solihull, with visits to base team at Whitley. Successful candidates will need to have a full UK Driving licence & meet medical requirements of OEM facilities.
