Technical Manager

My client a market leading manufacturing company, specialises in medium to high volume manufacture across several industries. Due to a sustained increase in orders they require an experienced Technical Manager.
Main Duties
-Will be a member of the senior management team involved with strategic development of the company.
-Planning and organisational of the technical team to support both internal and external customers.
-Control the process of estimating, and costing of new products
-Take the lead on new Product Introduction programs, and manufacturing processes
-Offer technical support to new and existing customers
-Resolve any Metallurgical and Quality issues
-Ensure technical processes meet and exceed customers requirements.
Skills and Experience
-Candidates should have a Metallurgy, Materials Science or similar technical background, ideally educated to degree level or equivalent industry experience
-Ideally have experience of working in a foundry / casting environment
-Strong communication skills and experience of preparing and delivering presentation to both internal colleagues and external customers and suppliers
