The client has been established in the UK for almost 30 years and is looking to maintain and bolster its position with a number of key appointments. A Logistics Co-ordinator is required to supervise the day to day running of stores/despatch/line feeders and goods receiving. To manage stock accuracy and control perpetual inventory checks and reporting. To co-ordinate both inventory and stores functions.
Implement and maintain accurate inventory records and reporting
Achieve 98% stock accuracy and implement improvements
Ensure all company processes and procedures for PI and stock control are adhered to
Ensure all supplier deliveries are received
Ensure empty supplier packaging is returned
Management of hazardous and non hazardous waste handling
Identify and implement improvements for day to day activities
Control all aspects of material issue to production areas
Negotiations with haulage companies
Regular inspection of racking
FLT licence ideally
Full clean driving licence
GSCE or equivalent Maths and English
Good communicator
Experience ideally stores/inventory in first tier automotive or associated logistics function
