Our client acquires, develops and applies new ideas and improved components to support their customer s products. They also offer design, development, manufacture and software services and products to the aerospace, space, energy and transport industries.
The firm are seek a person with a track record in the aerospace manufacturing environment; the role is working with the Test Rig team. This role is suitable for a person who has previously worked as a Manufacturing Engineer and had involvement with buying or procurement.

The main aspects of the role are to liaise with the Manufacturing Engineers in relation to materials or components and then source the items that they need to increase production. The Manufacturing Engineering from an Aerospace company is essential as you`ll be signing off drawings that come from the design office too.
The Buying aspect of the role is required as the second part of the role is to source the relevant materials; you have to be able to learn this area if you have limited experience.
It`s a job that will challenge as the firm are very busy at the moment however if you have a solid knowledge of Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering from Aerospace, then we would want to hear from you.
They are looking for a person who has a minimum education level of HND in Engineering. On offer is a very good salary with benefits; a 37 hour working week and the opportunity to progress throughout the company.
