A world leader in the innovation, design and manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection equipment are now looking for Systems Engineer to work on contract basis.

The Systems Engineer will work on the development of real-time electronic control systems for diesel fuel injection equipment and other integrated engine and vehicle electronic systems.

Responsible for capturing and analysing customer requirements and designing control algorithms and strategies in MATLAB/Simulink. Investigations and problem solving activities surrounding the control system Validation Testing on Electronic Test Bench and Vehicle

The Systems Engineer will be educated to degree level in mechanical engineering, electronics or software with proven experience of developing real time control systems using Simulink.

Understanding of diesel engine control strategies, ECU hardware and sensor/actuator interfaces would be beneficial.

Awareness of the SPICE assessment model would be an advantage.
