Senior CAD Engineer - Interior/Exterior Trim (Vista)

£30 per hour
Our client is one of the world`s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. Established for more than 60 years its product line-up has, more recently, moved into the design and manufacture of passenger cars, including electric vehicles.
They currently have an urgent 6 month contract requirement for a Senior CAD Engineer for Interior and Exterior Trim.
Based at their attractive University campus, the individual will report to the Lead Engineer for Interior Trim within the Body and Trim Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Designing and developing the Catia V5 models for the Interior Trim on P786 project. This will include headlining, pillar trim, quarter trim and load space models.
* Designing and developing the Catia V5 models for the Exterior Trim on P786 project.
* Designing and developing Catia V5 models for Interior and Exterior Trim on Vista project.
* Storing working models into structured database to support project reviews and DMU process.
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree qualified or similar qualification
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills
* Minimum of 5 years Automotive experience is essential
* Good logic reasoning
* Be an effective team member contributing to improvements and high customer service.
* Demonstrates depth of knowledge in a relevant techical specialisty
* Experience in the "Team Centre" data management systems would be benefit.
