Touchscreen Integration Engineer
Coventry, West Midlands, England
£30.20 - 30.20 per hour

To support the development and introduction of the Touchscreen display into vehicle lines over multiple model years. The role will involve supporting the PMST leader (for a major vehicle line) and will involve investigating issues, performing design validation and releasing software to wider vehicle test and for production. In addition for a small vehicle line a PMST leader role is required incorporating full ownership of the roll-out of the HLDF for a specific vehicle/model year.

Skills Required:
Issue investigation skills to find root cause to system, software and hardware issues relating to the touch screen. Ability to write and execute design validation plans. To review and manage multiples sources of requirements specification for the touchscreen. Full UK driving licence essential. Must have excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.

Experience Required:
Knowledge of automotive electronics development, or in a similar industry. Experience if issue investigation to identify problem root cause (e.g. FTA or Fish Bone). Experience in a leading role delivering an electronic commodity.

Experience Preferred:
OEM specific development processes, such as AIMS, eFDVS, and WERS releases.

Education Required:
Ideally a degree in Electrical engineering or a relevant area. Equivalent experience in a similar role may be considered.

Additional Information:
This role will be based at Whitley, but moving to Gaydon during 2012. Regular travel to other sites will be required.
