Job Responsibilities:

Working within a Customer focused team, the Material Planner has the following responsibilities:-

•Take a role within the material planning area

•Initiate, co-ordinate and participate in activities to ensure optimum inventory levels

•Ensure that deliveries take place on the scheduled date, in the correct containers, & in the quantity specified

•Control inventory levels for outgoing parts to eliminate RSSM costs

•Perform all tasks to sustain CPS Performance levels

•Attend regular client NPI meetings

•Manage workloads within the team on a daily basis

•Collate & report monthly performance figures

 

Skills / Experience:

•Excellent interpersonal communication skills

•Experience in Logistics

•Knowledge of Glovia and MRP systems would be an advantage

•PC skills are essential

•Ability to work well in a team environment

•Self motivated with good attention to detail
