REQUIREMENTS: : Provide maintenance and site engineering support to the site. Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the maintenance team and fully develop their capability and proficiency in achieving their targets. Drive Continuous Improvement processes to achieve better cost effectiveness, uptime, quality and housekeeping. Develop the team to perform and grow in their individual roles and as a team through multi-skilling, involvement and effective delegation. Shape and drive a change agenda, rolling out improved techniques and methodologies to benefit the operations teams and the site/business as a whole.
DESCRIPTION: Our client manufactures precision engineered components and small assemblies for the defence and aerospace industry. Employing c300 people and with modern NC machinery, this company have an enviable order book. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Manager.
VAC REQ :Maintenance team management and site engineering/services within a technical/engineering business.Looking after an established team of 10 engineers
Budget management.
Technical management of capital projects value of projects total of £800k
Delivery of performance improvement in a similar environment.
Create and implement maintenance strategy.
Used to working to tight time frames and limited budgets.
