Climate Controls / HeVac / HVAC Integration Engineer

The focus of the job is the integration of Climate Controls / HeVac / HVAC systems on a variety of vehicle programmes. Elements of the job will include:
- Manage and direct the design release of Climate Control / HeVAC, HVAC systems / components, including BoM`s, system design specifications, supplier management.
- Direct or conduct system thermal analysis using appropriate CAE tools such as. KULI or Radtherm.
- Direct CFD and cabin thermal CAE analysis to aid in the design of the system and manage passenger thermal comfort.
- Develop and manage vehicle targets, DVP`s, and programme status documents.
- Conduct testing in environmental test facilities and on development hot and cold climate trips, including; management of vehicle instrumentation / data acquisition and processing, analyzing and reporting of test data.
- Be able and willing to spend up to 1 week in 8 overseas.
Candidate Requirements: - Degree, HND, HNC qualified
- A minimum of 3 years experience in Climate Control / HeVAC / HVAC systems development gained in the Automotive, RAIL, AEROSPACE, MILITARY or DEFENCE industries.
- Good understanding of human thermal comfort principles.
- Hold an UK Driving Licence
- Be immediately eligible to work in the UK
