A World Leader in the innovation, design and manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection Equipment are now looking for a Development Engineer to provide technical engineering expertise to the Development and Application Team. br
Development of advanced Fuel Injection Systems for Heavy Duty Vehicles.br
As the Development Engineer you will be responsible:br
To provide tehcnical assistance in the development of fuel injection equipment by giving practical and theoretical support for engineering processes and systems including, hydraulics, manufacturing processes etc.br
Develop products by demonstrating reliability through durability and fatigue testing and analyse component and results following tests.br
Design and development of fixtures to allow effective test programmes. br
Problem solving through innovative techniquesbr
Use of instrumentation and software including Matlab and Labview. br
Ensure adherence to quality control standards, QS900, IS01400 and TS16949. br
Contribute and participate in activities to promote an environment of continuous improvement. br
To ensure a safe working environment with full compliance to relevant legislation. br
Visiting customers' sites and other Delphi sites in the UK and Overseas. br
As the Development Engineer you will be qualified to degree level in an engineering discipline or equivalent, ideally with proven experience within an engineering environment.br
A genuine interest and enjoyment in engineering and resolving technical issues and problems that arise.br
Ability to demonstrate excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills br
Willing to train and develop new skillsbr
bDue to a Global International customer base, International Language skills would be a distinct advantage, but not essential.b
