Brakes BOM and WERS Support Specialist

£20.80 - 20.80 per hour
To provide specialist support to Brakes Engineering Teams with respect to maintenance of BOM and WERS for all engineering programmes. To provide a source of reference for all of the Brakes team with respect to the BOM/WERS systems. To provide specialist coaching to new starters, in the Brakes teams, required to use the BOM/WERS systems. To represent the Brakes Engineering teams in Project Change Management meeting.
Skills Required:
Must be an expert user of the BOM/WERS systems, with significant recent experience in their application on new vehicle programmes. Good meeting, presentation and coaching skills.
Skills Preferred:
A flexible and adaptable team member is required who can be pro-active in developing a new support role in the Brakes team.
Experience Required:
Substantial experience in the use of BOM/WERS in an OEM or another automotive manufacturer using these or similar systems.
Experience Preferred:
Experience in rolling out the use of BOM/WERS to new users would be an advantage.
Education Required:
The candidate is expected to be from an engineering background but experience and confidence in the use of the above systems is more important in this role than formal qualifications.
Education Preferred:
Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
