Acoustic Performance Engineer

A world leader in complete, advanced technology propeller systems has a unique opportunity for an Acoustics Performance Engineer. This position could also be called Noise Engineer or Acoustics Engineer. It is based in commuting range of Cheltenham, Bristol,Worcester and South Wales
You will carry out analysis of propeller acoustics and develop acoustics methods. The primary focus of this role will be the analysis of propeller acoustics including near field and far field noise prediction methods. You will also support work on propeller aerodynamics.
You will be degree qualified and have a background in acoustic analysis preferably relating to rotating machinery. Aerospace experience is preferred but is far from essential.
