A world leader in the innovation, design and manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection equipment are now looking for a Senior Design Engineer - Nozzles to work on either a permanent or contract basis to generate nozzle design solutions to meet anticipated future customers demands.

As the Senior Design Engineer you will provide innovative and competitive new nozzle design solutions to ensure that our next generation injector products are compliant with future emissions legislation and anticipated customer requirements.

Engage cross-functional support between the following groups/ resources for successful project execution:

- Design

- Simulation

- Prototype manufacture

- Hydraulic test and validation

- Engine test

- Manufacturing



Responsible for the initial feasibility phase up to proof-of-concept . Ensure efficient handover to product teams once proof of concept has been completed.



Use IandCIM methodologies to ensure that robust designs are developed.



Ensure competitive solutions are developed Collate competitor data, benchmark and formulate a competitive development roadmap.



Anticipate evolutionary and revolutionary developments and initiate plans to realise solutions.



Build-on existing competencies within advanced engineering, and to grow the team.

As the Senior Designer you will have good experience in a role where you have exercised significant influence and independent judgement on the design of precision automotive component/s from a senior decision making position.



Whilst experience with diesel fuel injection technology will be an advantage, applicants will also be considered from related technologies.
