A customer focussed machining and sub-assembly partner at the forefront of component supplies to the automotive, agricultural, mining, electrical and construction industries.
An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Inspector.
To guarantee the quality and the conformity of the products in line with customer requirements.
To achieve quality targets set in the quality policy and progress towards zero defects
To enhance the knowledge of quality tools used by employees.
You will support production in first off/last off and in process inspection
Develop and create CMM programmesto measure components against customer/internal drawings
Resolve technaical issues affecting the quality of parts
You will come froma machining background, working to precision tolerances
CMM programming, preferably Mitutoyo COSMOS 3.2 software
Use/programming of Form Tracer, preferably Mitutoyo FormTrace software
Use of wide range of measuring equipment, eg roundness tester, surface finish tester, shadow graph and manual equipment
Knowledge of GDT
Worked to ISO 9001/TS16949
You will be required to be a member of project teams as and when necessary
Will represent the quality function on the project and the project in the quality function
Role is commutable from Huddersfield, Bradford, Halifax, Leeds, Sheffield.
