Assembly Process Planner

Our client is a leading prestige automotive manufacturer who are seeking to appoint an Assembly Process Planner on a 12-month contract based in Oxford.
As Assembly Process Planner, you will working on all aspects of product change from single components to new models
Key tasks include:
* Liaising with Munich planning departments on best practice solutions.
* Liaising with engineering on product change.
* Liaising with production on product change.
* Creating specifications for jigs/tools/fixtures/equipment.
* Liaising with purchase and suppliers to order/install/commission above.
* Creating written work instructions for area of responsibility.
Qualifications / skills:
* Mechanical engineering degree or suitable alternative (e.g. Apprenticeship with HND).
* Process planning experience (preferably in automotive).
* Excellent IT skills.
* Driving licence.
* German language an advantage.
* CATIA knowledge an advantage.
Other information:
Candidates must be willing to travel on a regular basis to Europe on new car projects.
