Manufacturing Process Engineer required in Wolverhampton for a leading lamination manufacturing facility. This role will be to develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying products and manufacturing methods.
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials
Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Assures product and process quality by design in process capability quality standards
Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labour, and material, analyzing, and summarizing information.
They keep conducting tests on systems for efficiency and accuracy till a quality and cost-effective production process is implemented successful
Research and develop and designing new processes and manufacturing technology, to improve the present manufacturing or production processes to
Completes design and development projects by training and guiding employees.
Ideally our client would be looking for an Engineering Degree or Business Management qualified individual. A good understanding of Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Manufacturing Quality and Product Development. AutoCAD and PLC knowledge would be advantegeous and the confidence to present technical information to staff ad clients alike.
