First tier automotive supplier of mainly plastic components with an excellent order and currently developing an additional manufacturing facility. Processes include plastic injection moulding, paint and assembly. They have an excellent reputation for quality, innovation and delivery.
The role is to support the logistical function to create synergy with the combination of the roles of goods inwards, goods outwards and production planning
Main Activities:
- To develop and operate the process, effectively monitor production planning control through input of materials, for all sequence A to B and B to C functions.
- To produce production plans that balance the need for all customers and reduces the requirement of overtime and plant jig changes.
- Manage and develop all FLT, despatch and goods in activities ensuring that department KPIs are set and agreed.
- To be responsible for liaising, coordinating and monitoring with logistics and within the health and safety framework, planners, manufacturing, assembly and transport subcontractors to ensure that all sequenced product is loaded in a timely manner to meet the time constraints/targets.
- To liaise, coordinate and monitor with logistics planners of sequenced parts to enable the effective use of transportation ensuring that all products are loaded in a timely manner.
