A Touchscreen Integration Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in the West Midlands.
Description
This role will require the engineer to deliver the touchscreen improvements for phase 3 and phase 4 display software. The Touchscreen Engineer will work closely with our client’s design team, and the supplier, to ensure they deliver the new graphics/animation strategy to meet the start-up/transition timings specified. Additionally, the engineer will help maintain the fleet to a high standard.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Vehicle architecture experience is essential - ideally MOST and CAN. Previous display design experience would be an advantage. Use of diagnostic tools such as ASL to SWDL to modules and the ability to use CANalyser is preferred.

Experience Required:
Use of Vector CANalyser and diagnostic tools knowledge of CAN and MOST networks required. Experience of DV testing and issue reporting/management is essential, including the ability to use MS Office Packages. Experience of working in a workshop environment on customer vehicles.
Education Required:
HNC or equivalent qualification, in a relevant field or subject.
Additional Information:
The Electrical Engineering Department will be moving from Whitley to Gaydon during 2012.
