Client Information
My client a leading manufacturing company specialising in machined components to a wide range of metal manufacturing companies across a variety of engineering sectors, including Oil and Gas, Power Generation and Aerospace.
Job description
-Applicants should have a proven track record in the generation, development and finalisation of sales leads and possess a good understanding of machining processes, CNC machine tool technology and commercial issues.
-Forge key relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities increasing customer awareness, sales and technical support
-Capture new business in strategically agreed market sectors.
-Manage the preparation of successful high-value proposals and estimates for customers
-Develop relationships with decision-makers in customer and target organisations ensuring strong partnerships are achieved
-Be able to communicate to all levels including board level as well as detailing product specifications
Key skills and experience
-Candidates should be comfortable reading Engineering drawings and will have a Mechanical Engineering qualification or will have served a technical apprenticeship.
-Should have experience in CNC machining or programming across a variety of industry sectors
-Experience of Technical Sales, creating technical solutions to a customers
